Telegram’s rules, handled for you
- Media captions are limited to 1,024 characters. If your text is longer, UniPostudio sends the media first and the text as its own message straight after, so nothing is cut.
- Posts use Telegram’s HTML formatting, so bold, italic, links and code show as you wrote them.
- Counting is Unicode-aware, so Arabic, Hindi or Malayalam text is measured correctly.

How to schedule Telegram posts
- Connect: create a bot with @BotFather in Telegram, paste its token into Channels, then add the bot as an admin of your channel or a member of your group.
- Compose: write the post once and add photos, video or a GIF. AI captions can draft it.
- Fit it for Telegram: in the Telegram tab, use longer text or formatting that other channels do not need.
- Schedule: pick a time or drag the post on the calendar, alongside your other channels.
Planning Telegram with your other channels
Many businesses run a Telegram channel next to Instagram, Facebook and a WhatsApp inbox. In UniPostudio the Telegram post sits on the same calendar as the rest, so an offer goes out on every channel at the same time. Occasions for your market appear on the calendar too, with a suggested day to post ahead.
Telegram messages and AI replies
Messages to your bot, in private chats and group messages addressed to it, arrive in the social inbox. AI replies draft an answer in your brand’s voice; approve each, or let them send automatically in private chats and to messages addressed to the bot.
In private chats, the first automated reply is preceded by a line saying it comes from your brand’s AI assistant. Customers who send STOP are left alone.
Telegram analytics
Analytics show what Telegram makes available to your bot. Where Telegram reports no data, the analytics screen says so rather than showing a zero.
What it does not do yet
- No sign-in with a personal Telegram account; publishing goes through your bot.
- The bot only sees messages sent to it or addressed to it, not every message in a group.
