Occasion posters: a festival poster maker that knows your calendar

Most small businesses remember Diwali, Eid or Christmas the week it arrives. By then the shop next door has posted. UniPostudio puts the occasions of your market on your calendar, reminds you on the day you should post, and turns your brand kit into a poster in four sizes.

Occasion posters are unlimited on every plan, including the 30-day trial. They sit inside the same composer that publishes to your channels, so the poster and the post are one job, not two tools.

How occasion posters work

  • Each brand has a market and region. The calendar shows that market’s holidays, festivals and local occasions, plus global retail moments such as Black Friday. You can switch occasions off, and add your own (an anniversary, a store opening).
  • Every occasion carries a suggested day to post ahead of it, and a reminder: Diwali 14 days before, Eid 10 days, Ramadan 10 days, Christmas 14 days, Saudi National Day 14 days, Onam 10 days.
  • Opening an occasion opens its occasion sheet, where you make a poster or a text post for it.
  • A poster is your brand kit (name, logo, a light logo for dark backgrounds, colours, a contact line) drawn on a design, with your text.
  • Four styles: minimal, bold, festive and photo.
  • Four sizes rendered at once: square 1080×1080, portrait 1080×1350, story 1080×1920 and landscape 1200×628.
  • The poster goes straight to the composer, to schedule on every connected channel.

The posters are designs filled with your brand kit and your words. Where AI artwork is switched on, the picture behind your logo and text can be made by AI through our image provider: you describe what it should show, and your headline, logo and details are drawn on top exactly as you typed them. An AI picture costs credits; designed posters stay unlimited on every plan. Posters with AI artwork are marked as AI-generated, and labelled as such where the platform supports it, such as TikTok. You see a preview of every poster and can change the text and make it again before anything is posted. If you want help with the caption, AI captions draw on your plan’s AI generations (100 a month on Classic and Pro, unlimited on Agency; see pricing).

Which markets are curated

Occasions are checked by hand for the Netherlands, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Portugal, Ireland and the United Kingdom; for India; and for the Gulf and wider Arab world: Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Egypt, Jordan and Morocco. Other countries get their public holidays from a holiday feed.

Islamic dates follow the Umm al-Qura tables and can move by a day with the moon sighting. Hindu festival dates are checked against published panchang and government lists. The app’s art direction avoids another festival’s imagery, real people’s likeness and alcohol on religious days.

Guides for the biggest occasions

Where the poster goes

From the composer one poster can go to Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok (as a photo post), Telegram and Google Business Profile. YouTube takes video only, and WhatsApp is an inbox channel, so neither publishes a poster. All ten channels are built into UniPostudio; some open in your account as each platform completes its app review, and the Channels screen shows which ones you can connect today. See integrations.

Frequently asked questions

Are occasion posters free?

They are unlimited on every paid plan and in the 30-day trial, which needs no card. There is no free plan; Classic is €9 a month ($9, ₹499). See pricing.

Does UniPostudio generate the poster image with AI?

Only if you choose. Every poster is your brand kit (logo, colours, contact line) and your text on one of four designs. AI can also draft the caption, from your plan’s AI generations.

Can I add my own occasions?

Yes. Add custom occasions such as an anniversary or a launch, and switch off the ones you do not want on the calendar.

How do I know when to post?

Each occasion has a suggested post day ahead of it and a reminder. For Diwali and Christmas it is 14 days before; for Eid, Ramadan and Onam it is 10 days.

My brands are in different countries. Does each get its own calendar?

Yes. Each brand has its own market and region, so a Pro account with a Dutch and a Saudi brand sees Sinterklaas on one and Saudi National Day on the other.
