Ramadan post ideas and a poster maker for your business

For a month your customers change their day. Meals move to the evening, families gather for iftar, shopping moves late into the night. Iftar offers and adjusted opening hours matter more than any slogan.

UniPostudio puts the start of Ramadan on your calendar with a reminder 10 days ahead, then Eid al-Fitr after it, and makes Ramadan posters from your brand kit in four sizes.

Expected Ramadan dates

Dates follow the Umm al-Qura tables and can move by a day with the moon sighting. Schedule “Ramadan Kareem” posts without a hard date, and confirm hours once the start is announced.

Iftar, suhoor and opening hours

Hours are the most useful post of the month. Many businesses open late, close for iftar or stay open until suhoor. Put the hours on a square poster for the feed and a story for Instagram, and post an Update on Google Business Profile so Search and Maps show the change. Event times there are the business’s local time.

Restaurants can use the Book or Order button on a Google post; keep phone numbers out of the text and use the Call button instead. See Google Business Profile posts.

Tone and imagery

  • Keep it warm and calm. Ramadan is a month of fasting and reflection, not only a sale.
  • If a post goes out during fasting hours to an audience that fasts, leaving food out of the picture is good practice; save the iftar spread for the hour before sunset.
  • Use lanterns, crescents, patterns and your own products. The app’s art direction avoids another festival’s imagery, real people’s likeness and alcohol on religious days.
  • In the last ten nights, a quieter message suits the mood better than a loud discount.

Ramadan post ideas by business

  • Restaurants and cafés: iftar sets, suhoor menus, group tables.
  • Bakeries and sweet shops: dates, kunafa and Eid boxes with pre-order days.
  • Fashion: Eid outfits, ordered by week three to arrive in time.
  • Supermarkets and grocers: Ramadan baskets and late opening.
  • Gyms and salons: changed class times and evening appointments.

Make a Ramadan poster in UniPostudio

  • Open the calendar. The occasion is already on it for brands in that market, with a reminder on the suggested post day.
  • Click the occasion to open its occasion sheet, and choose a poster or a text post.
  • Pick a style (minimal, bold, festive or photo) and write your headline and offer.
  • Your brand kit is applied: brand name, logo (a light version on dark designs), brand colours and a contact line such as your website.
  • UniPostudio renders the poster in all four sizes at once.
  • Send it to the composer, write or generate a caption, adjust it per channel and schedule it.

Captions in Arabic are counted correctly against each channel’s limit, and the interface runs in Arabic right to left. Help docs and support email are in English.

Frequently asked questions

When does Ramadan 2027 start?

Ramadan is expected to begin on Monday 8 February 2027 by the Umm al-Qura calendar, and Eid al-Fitr on 9 March 2027. Both can move by a day.

What should a business post during Ramadan?

Opening hours first, then iftar and suhoor offers, pre-orders for Eid, and a respectful greeting at the start and for the last ten nights.

Should I show food in Ramadan posts?

Food suits iftar posts near sunset. For posts during fasting hours aimed at people who fast, leaving food out is good practice.

Can I schedule the whole month in advance?

Yes. Make the posters, schedule them in the composer and see them on the calendar. Change any post by dragging it to a new day.

How much does it cost in the Gulf?

Gulf customers are charged in US dollars: Classic is $9 a month, Pro $29 and Agency $49. Occasion posters are unlimited on all three. See pricing.
