Pinterest’s rules, handled for you
- Every pin needs an image or a video, and the composer checks for one before you schedule.
- Every pin needs a destination link. UniPostudio uses the first link in your Pinterest caption.
- Titles up to 100 characters and descriptions up to 500, counted correctly in any script.
- A Pinterest-only caption, so the pin can carry its own title and link while Instagram gets “Link in bio”.

How to schedule Pinterest pins
- Connect: open Channels, choose Pinterest and sign in. Make sure the board you want pins on is your first board.
- Compose: add a tall image or a video and write the post once. AI captions can draft it.
- Fit it for Pinterest: in the Pinterest tab, set the title and description and put your destination link first.
- Schedule: choose a time or drag the pin on the calendar. A product range or a month of posts can come in by CSV import.
Planning pins with the rest of your content
Pins last far longer than most social posts, so they reward planning. In UniPostudio the pin sits on the same calendar as your Instagram and Facebook posts, in month, week, day or agenda view, and you drag it to move it.
Seasonal moments matter on Pinterest because people search ahead. The calendar shows occasions for your market, from Christmas to Diwali and Eid, each with a suggested day to post ahead of it. An occasion poster is rendered in four sizes at once; for a pin, upload your own 2:3 image, since Pinterest favours tall pins.
Inbox and AI replies on Pinterest
Pinterest has no inbox replies in UniPostudio, and no AI replies on Pinterest. Your other channels still come into the social inbox.
Pinterest analytics
Analytics show what Pinterest reports for your pins. Pinterest’s numbers arrive with a delay of about 48 hours, so a new pin shows its first figures after a couple of days. History is 90 days on Classic and Pro, one year on Agency.
What it does not do yet
- No board picker: pins go to the first board on your account when you connect.
- No creating boards from UniPostudio.
- No inbox replies on Pinterest.
